Jetnav - the concept

jetnav.co.uk provides a quick and convenient flight listing service for the independent traveller.

  • Ever wanted to book a flight but don't know which airlines fly where you want to go?
  • Spent hours trawling the web looking for a flight that arrives or departs at a time to suit you?
  • Wanted to compare the cost and convenience of a scheduled flight from a national airline against a no frills carrier?

If the answer is yes then jetnav.co.uk is the service for you.

We aim to provide a complete listing of all scheduled flights to the destination of your choice on the date of your choice. We are completely independent of any airline or travel organisation and provide totally unbiased information.

jetnav.co.uk provides information, we do not make the booking or handle any money. You, the customer, make the booking directly with the airline via the website link provided. There are no extra or hidden charges for booking via this link.

Online booking of airline flights is booming. As the airlines struggle to drive down costs the advantages of booking on the web become more apparent. Some airlines will only accept online bookings, but even the more traditional scheduled airlines now do a large proportion of their business online. Until now there has been no easy way of comparing the flights and services of the various airlines on a particular route. jetnav.co.uk aims to bring this information to you with its simple to use website.

There is no charge to you, the customer, for using this website, but inevitably we need to raise revenue to operate. We aim to do this via our Affiliation Programme, so if you value the service we provide, we would urge you to make all your bookings (for flights and associated travel requirements) via the links from this site.

Hints on using the website

Points to remember when enquiring about a flight:

  • Some airlines (in particular no frills carriers) do not fly directly to city centres, but to another airport nearby.
  • With our Regional Searches we have endeavoured to search on airports that you may consider using as alternatives to your first choice airport in one easy operation.
  • Do not dismiss scheduled airlines as being too expensive without first checking. They tend to offer more flights at more convenient times of the day.
  • Remember to compare like with like prices. Some airlines quote a "headline fare" without airport and local taxes etc. (although this practice is being clamped down on by the advertising authorities), others quote an all inclusive price. Airlines are ingenious at adding "hidden" extras, some now charge extra if you check baggage into the hold, some charge for "priority boarding passes", most charge extra if you pay by credit card compared to debit card, so comparing like for like is not as simple as it may seem.
  • On the airport information pages there is a list of the available destinations and the airlines flying the route. Not all routes are flown daily, and some may be seasonal only, so a blank result on a particular date does not mean the route is not operating. Click on the airline link flying the route and check their schedule.
  • Jetnav.co.uk deals primarily with scheduled flights and our service aims to offer a complete listing. Some charter airlines have provided us with flight information, and where they have we include it in our searches, but we do not pretend to supply extensive information on charter flights.
